The National Science Day Celebration 2026 was organized by the SUMCTE Vendar Science Club on 28 February 2026. National Science Day is celebrated to promote scientific thinking and to remember the discovery of the Raman Effect by the great Indian scientist C. V. Raman. The celebration encouraged students to develop curiosity, creativity, and interest in science. Various science-related activities and presentations were organized by the science club to spread awareness about the importance of science in our daily life. The program helped students understand how scientific knowledge and innovations contribute to the development of society and the nation.
